Has disdain for Mary (in certain circles) as a reaction to Catholics affected society’s perception of women?
Are there examples, or are these things possibly just timeline coincedences?Yes.
Women were treated much better in Catholic countries in Medieval and post-Medieval Europe than they were in Protestant countries.

Interesting. Very interesting. So of COURSE women had to jettison those patriarchical virtues of obedience, humility, faith, charity, etc. How could they SUCCEED in a “man’s world” with baggage like that?
I would say so because look at the predominately Catholic countries in the world today. Not exactly pillars of womens rights and cultural equality. Are there examples, or are these things possibly just timeline coincedences?
What Exactly do you view as the REAL nature and being of Woman? The more contemporary people disdain the Blessed Mother, trivialize her role in salvation history, and deride her virtues (above all, look how MOTHERHOOD has become so twisted that mothers ABORT THEIR CHILDREN today!!), the worse the perception of women is–because that perception is so untrue as to the REAL nature and being of woman.

Hello Polaris,
Which countries would you say are the best concerning womens rights and cultural equality?
