Thank you. Most of my extended family members are Catholic converts. My grandmother’s conversion created a “domino effect” on all of her children. Some chose to believe in a different religion but we are mostly Catholics. My immediate family (except for my brother) are the recent converts to the Church.
Prayer is a dominant factor in our family gatherings.
We are priviliged to have converted at the time when Catholicism was not persecuted. Back in the 1800s and during the early 1900s Catholics were often killed for going to church. Some were even buried alive at Mirinae (it is a shrine now). Korea was one of the countries that Christians were persecuted (exactly opposite to other countries).
