Holy Spirit guidance

If Jesus tells us not to worry about what we will say then do we just go out and say something like Holy Spirit I’m here I don’t know what to say please take over ?
Is that appropriate ?

Absolutely. That’s the sort of thing the Holy Spirit is there for. Although I personally wouldn’t say ‘take over’ - you might start speaking in tongues :bigyikes: which might not be of a lot of practical help.

I’d just say ‘guide me with your gifts of wisdom and counsel to say the right thing’.

In my own words thats a little flash for how I speak but although I speak in toungs I agree as Paul says thjat although there are times and places for toungs “I would rather speak a toung that edified than one no one could understand”.

Oh a lot of the time my words arent quite that flash either, but sometimes I feel the need to, just for extra oomph 😉

Thanks for that and if you have any other points I am always grateful, and I know that the Holy Spirit is always different in His touch of others, always edifieing.
