Holy Spirit guiding people after we receive the Eucharist at mass?

How much does the Holy Spirit take over guiding people when we receive the Eucharist at mass?
 
I think the Holy Spirit guides us as much as we are spiritually connected to him. However the guidance is more related to how much are you open to God’s will than to at what time you have last received the the Eucharist.
