Finally, i was wondering when you would expose yourself as a liar on this thread.
i’ll show everyone here who is the paranoic liar.
you started by saying:
Quote:
Yes in fact i do have questions but i want to make sure about the Muslim general view of the Ruh Al Quds.
i confirm. I do know that some considered him Jesus and others considered him Gabriel. I needed to know which one is the general Muslim belief and BASED ON WHAT. So far, nothing of what i said is a “lie” .🙂
Then you got angry for me calling you out and not playing your games.
of course cuz you said i want to DEBUNK when the fact is i want to INVESTIGATE the basis of this belief . So who is the liar here?
But finally, you have shown your true intentions. Rather than really “wanting to know” Muslim beliefs, you finally state that you “know” that:
Quote:
Waraqa Ben Nawfal who was NOT an orthodox Christian is the one who taught Muhammad ALL the WRONG teachings about orthodox Christianity
how can you have a conversation if you can’t differentiate between : “i know Ben Nawfal taught Muhamad”, and "i want to know the basis of Muslim belief according to Muslims?😉 you lack coherency hence you got all things missed. So yes i know Nawfal taught Muhammad, but i want to know on what basis MUSLIMS believe this…of course not on the basis that Waraqa said so
And then you “dare” me to “refute” your claims, or that of your other hero used here, Yusef.
yes and i repeat my invitation if you dare.
hah! sounds like someone who really wants to ask questions and learn!
well if you did not oblige me to give the link and say WHY i want to know the MUSLIM BELIEF, then the thread’s route wouldnt have changed. But since it changed, and since i said that i don’t want to refute but to trace back, then now you know it and i challenge you again to refute the link.
No, i will not read any garbage link you send.
the garbage is a history book…and don’t worry, i know you don’t dare to read it 😉
My only purpose of participating in this tread was to call you out as one who does not want to truly ask a question. Rather you only want to “challenge” and show that “Muslims are wrong”, etc, etc. This was shown very clearly. The charade is over.
first off, i showed who the paranoic is. You accused me of wanting to DEBUNK, when the fact was the opposite. I wanted Muslims to show me WHY they believe what they believe in, and then I PERSONALLY will continue my research. I stated very early and asked : ON WHAT BASIS do Muslims believe what they believe in.

Thank you for showing how paranoic and weak in faith you are cuz

1- you started to attack on the spot .
2- could not neither answer nor refute the link you obliged me to put because of your paranoia.

btw, even if we suppose i wanted to refute, then your behavior showed how weak you are.

All in all, you neither responded nor were you up to the challenge, as expected. Most Muslims run when presented with historical facts and call it “garbage” without even reading it:rolleyes: Speaks a lot about how strong is your faith that you dont even dare to read.

Enough with this. Please and kindly step back and let someone else who is better in his faith answer.

PS: this thread was anything but a challenge. But since i was obliged then the challenge is to ANY Muslim who is very “sure” that Muhammad was dictated by God.

If any Muslim does not want to read the link as i expect, then answering the OP is appreciated.

For all other Muslims, I DON’T WANT TO REBUKE, i want info on the basis of this belief FROM A MUSLIM POINT OF VIEW. THANK YOU.

jcaz, if you got nothing to add, step back please. I do not have time for personal attacks. You already wasted much of my time without answering any relevant question.

So go on with your “debunk”. We are waiting.
I don’t understand why you fear Islam being debunked. Knowing that the Church teaches only what is true, I have no fear of anyone trying to debunk my faith. In fact, I welcome it as a chance to illustrate that it is true. If Islam is true, you should not fear questions but welcome them as an opportunity to explain your faith.

I think this illustrates why Muslims were enraged by the idea of being invited into religious dialogue. They feel they have a lot to hide. All I can say is, truth is not afraid of the light of day.

O.K. This is really interesting, Muslims claim that the Angel Gabriel is the Holy Spirit who came upon Mary and caused her to conceive. They base this upon Luke 1:26:38, which is one of the verses in the Bible they believe to be “uncorrupted”. So, if this is true, then why did Gabriel say to Mary in verse 35, “the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon you” rather than “**my **power will come upon you”?

well this question confuses me as well…also in Quran it is said that Allah blew into Mary from his spirit…if Gabriel is the spirit then this means Gabriel caused her to conceive not Allah…

“Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: ‘I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud molded into shape; When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My Spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.’” S. 15:28-29

what does Gabriel have to do here? did he create humans or did he help Allah in creation?

Now Mary:

“And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our Spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.” 21:91

first does “all people” mean Jews?
Second, We breathed into her Gabriel?

The one who must breath into Mary is supposed to be Allah as the verses show. So if it was Gabriel who impregnated her, it means Gabriel is the Speaker of these surah and not Allah:confused:

heck i really need to know on what basis is Gabriel considered Holy Spirit.

hi mate inJESUS!
well as i’ve read jcaz has given the evidence in the first of his post, but then after that he got short of arguements or proofs, but no offence to you! so as you wanted the answer, here it goes from:
Surah Yunus (Know as Jonah); chapter (10:37)

“And this Qur’ân is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allâh (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the revelation)] which was before it *, and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. laws and orders, etc, decreed for mankind) - wherein there is no doubt from the the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns, and all that exists).”

And from the same chapter is the next Ayat! (10:38)

"Or do they say: “He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it?” Say: “Bring then a Sûrah (chapter) like unto it, and call upon whomsoever you can, besides Allâh, if you are truthful!”

And to assure that Holy Quran is The word of Allah–The God sent to Prophet Muhammad as the Word of Allah—The only Eloi!

The Quran is the miracle given to Muhammad. Yes, it is just “a book” compared to the miracles of the Jesus, Solomon, Moses or any other prophets.

However, this book given to him is the main source of law in Islam. Quranic teachings cover all areas of this life and the life after death. The whole of the Quran is from God. Each and every single word is a revealed word. It was sent down to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel. The Quran is in the Arabic Language and all the words have reamined unchanged, even to the last of dot, for over 1400 years now. The Quran exists today is in its original form, unaltered and undistorted. It is a living miracle in the sense that it has survived so many centuries without suffering any change. Many non-Muslims claim that Quran is written by Muhammad itself. If that was true, and if u have read the Quran, you would agree with me that Muhammad is indeed the most genius person on earth God ever created. But no. Before he was a prophet, he couldnt even read but he was trustworthy, kind and well-known for his honesty. Muhammad can never have written the Quran. It is the word of God. Let me tell you why.

FIRSTLY, in the Quran, There is a chapter named Surah Maryam (CHAPTER MARY) named in honor of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. In fact, in one of the verses in the Quran (Al-Imran, Ayah 42) says…

"Behold! The angels said “O mary! Allah has chosen you and purified you, chosen you above the women of all nations.”

Such an honor is not to be found given to Mary in any of The Christian Bible. If Muhammad was the author of the Quran, then he would not have failed to include in it with Maryam (Mary), his own mother - Aminah, his dear wife - Khadijah, or his beloved daughter - Fatima. But NO! This can never be. Why? Because The Quran is not his handiwork! And if you think further, why would Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam honor a woman from his opposition? And a jewess at that! Belonging to a race which had been looking down upon his ppl for 3,000 years? Just as they still look down upon their Arab brethren today. But no. The words in the Quran is the word of God, sent to Muhammad as God’s messenger, for him to deliver them to the people. And yes, Muslims believe in Jesus. But as a prophet, not as God. We love Jesus just like you love Jesus.

SECONDLY in the Quran, it is full of scientific evidence. I cant elaborate more on this but this is what i got from my research…

Maurice Bucaile (Prof of Surgery, France) in his book. “The BIBLE, the Quran and Science” mentions the following: (quoting page 120)

"What initially strikes the reader confronted for the first time with a text (The Quran) of his kind, is the sheer abundance of subjects discussed; The Creation, Astronomy, the Explanation of Certain Mailers concerning the Earth, The Animal and Vegetable Kingdoms and Human Reproduction.

Whereas monumental errors are to be found in the Bible, I could not find a single error in the Quran. I had to stop and ask myself; If a man was an author of the Quran, how could he have written facts in the seventh century AD… that today are shown to be in keeping with modern scientific knowledge?

There was absolutely no doubt that it, the text of the Quran we have today is most definitely a text of the period, if i may be allowed to put it in these terms. What human explanation can there be for this observation? In my opinion there is no explanation; there is no special reason why an inhabitant of the Arabian Peninsula should, at a time when King Dagobert was reigning in France (629-639AD) have had scientific knowledge on certain subjects that was ten centuries ahead of our own."

Another eminent French Researcher Professor, Captain Jacques Cousteau embraces Islam as a result of reading in the Holy Quran verses which 1,400 years ago were related to the result of his recent research work. That is, there are phenomenal barriers at connections of certain oceans, and that waters of one sea do not mix with that of the other.

The Quran clearly states the above fact: (Quran: Ar-Rahman, Ayah 19-20)

19: He (God) has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together

20: Between them is a barrier, which they do not trangress.

Professor Leith Moore (Anatomy, University of Toronto, Canada) describes the stages of human development, in his book “The Developing Human, Clinically Oriented Embryology” says:

"Growth of science was slow during the medieval periods, and a few high points of embryological investigation undertaken during this age are known to us.

cont…*

…cont ahead;

It is cited in the Quran that human beings are produced creation of a human being from a sperm drop, and it is also suggested that the resulting organism settles in the womb like a seed, six days after its beginning. The human blastocyst begins to impant about six days after fertilization.

The Quran also states that the sperm drop develops “into a congealed clot of blood”. An impanted blastocyst or a spontaneously aborted conceptus would resemble a blood clot."

Hope to answer the Question!👍

Very nicely described by carus. The Quran is the greatest miracle of Muhammad. The holy spirit in Quran is the arch angel Gabriel. He delivers messages form Allah to the prophets, to all prophets. I may write more later.
