I’m pretty sure I make spelling mistakes in just about every post I make. Like ‘phenomenal’, it’s not important (to me) as the point being made gets across and is understood, which *is *important - unless you’re obsessed with poor grammar and misspelling, in which case a public forum is possibly not the best place to hang out!
Fair enough, friend. Fair enough.

I will say that I almost never, ever point out grammar and spelling mistakes (although I always notice them), except when someone is, IMHO, being a bit insulting and snippy in a post.

I found the reference to “Oh, so you’ve got such a fantastic memory, dontcha, but why don’t you remember reading my posts about this subject?” to be a bit snippy, so when that happens I do like to come back with a little spelling/grammar correction.

Now, Sarah, I don’t want to fight with you right now about that. I think you will be fair in saying that on the Snippy Spectrum your post was more on one side than the other, yes?

But I promise to never ever make spelling/grammar corrections to you, no matter how heated our discussions may get. :signofcross:

Not at all.

I never claimed my spelling was phenomenal or that I never made a grammatical error.

You claimed you had a phemonenal memory and a ‘‘special ability’’ when it comes to remembering what you read.

I’m sure like me you read tons of threads you don’t post on.

I find it extrodinary you missed, or didn’t remember given your claims, 8 or more references to my opposition to abortion, and my pro life position.

However, if you did, you did.

This is utterly pointless, and by your own admission nothing more than a tip-for-tap based on your perception of my post, which in itself brings up other issues, but again way off topic, and nothing whatever to do with the thread topic, so I’m off now and have nothing further to say until relevant posts as per the topic are posted, on which I may or may not comment.

Sarah x 🙂

This is utterly pointless,
Well, as I stated earlier, I rather like to veer off onto tangents, and this is where our dialogue has taken us. 🤷
You claimed you had a phemonenal memory and a ‘‘special ability’’ when it comes to remembering what you read.
I did. And I do. So what? I also don’t read every single one of your posts, no matter how charming and delightful I find you. 😉
I’m sure like me you read tons of threads you don’t post on.
Yep.
I find it extrodinary you missed, or didn’t remember given your claims, 8 or more references to my opposition to abortion, and my pro life position.
You’ve got to be kidding me.

I only can have a phenomenal memory about posts I read. In threads I visit. :whacky:

If you post something on the “In the News” forum or “Faith and Finance” or any number of areas I rarely visit…[SIGN1] I won’t see it. [/SIGN1]

That you would think that, because you posted 8 snippets about your pro-life stance*** in threads I never read***, I would know this, is bemusing to me.

EDIT: please don’t go to the "Well, I posted in the [insert forum] and you read that forum. Point: if I don’t read the thread, no matter what forum it’s in, I’m not going to know through osmosis or telepathy what you wrote.
However, if you did, you did.
It’s possible that I skipped over a post in this thread you made in which you gave your explication for natural evils. I will look again.

Can you give me a hint, so when I do a search I know what words to highlight? Did you use the words “disaster”? Or “natural evil”? Or “earthquake”?

Also, it would have been nice to have you thank me for standing up for you.

But, whatever. 🤷
