It was full at my parish you had toget there an hour early to get a seat I just got back from Good Friday service tonight and it was full too i got there an hour early so i could get a seat both were very beautiful
Our attendance for both Holy Thursday and Good Friday were VERY VERY light. The god of sports events drew families away. For example, the chairman of liturgy had 4 servers schedules for Holy Thursday, all of whom were absent due to tournaments, etc.
What an example these parents are giving to their children! And how disappointed the parents’ parents must be!
I went to a friend’s church nearby. It was about 90% full. Also, the first mass I’ve been to where the entire mass was sung. And all the music was non-polyphonic chant, mostly in Latin, some English. I had mixed feelings about the music, but it’s not about me, it’s about worshiping God!
