I have heard that on Holy Thursday there is a solem mass wich I have heard described as one of the most moving and sacred rituals of the Catholic Church. I have heard different accounts but I was wondering my sister describe it as one of the most moving experiences she has ever experienced in Mass. Many parishiners wept and were so moved by this ritual. This has something to do with the one candle that is lit in the church, and all the rest of the church is left in darkness. Can anyone please share with me there personal experiences with this special rite. I have missed it every year, but I always make it to Thusday vigil at night, right after where the Eucarist is set in repose. Thank you. Vivat Jesu.
