Holy Water-Basics/Church Teaching

We are preparing for our high school religious ed. class on Baptism which brings in the topic of holy water. We want to give the students bottles for their own use at home. We would like to attach some basic info. about the **use **and **value **of holy water. Does any one know a source for basic info on this - what the church actually says/believes - not just people’s private opinions on its value? Thanks so much.

My local Catholic supply store has little Holy Water bottle with prayers and information on it about how to use.
