Sorry, I didn’t realize that the original post was autocorrected wrongly.
I hate posting from my phone!

I visited a parish that used holy waterguns. When I walked through the vestibule into the narthex then stepped into the nave, reaching to my left for the holy water and finding an empty font, I looked up and saw an usher. He raised something that was gilded, pointing it directly at my forehead. The holy water surprised me at first, but as it ran into my eyes I suddenly saw the world anew. Thanking him for his ministry, I walked away with an appreciation for this new way of distributing grace.

Hi Your intention is good.but its irreverent as you rightly mentioned ,children would play with it and they wouldn’t know the significance of the sacramental and its reverence,it’s nice you mentioned it,some would unknowingly be doing the same, as this will be an eye opener to stop such similar things. as it is said in Wisdom 6:10 For they will be made holy who observe holy things in holiness, and those who have been taught them will find a defense.11 Therefore set your desire on my words;long for them, and you will be instructed. and also in below verse we must be matured Christians as we grow in Faith Hope and Charity

1 Corinthians 13:9-11 For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; 10 but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

1 Corinthians 6:12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be enslaved by anything.

1 Corinthians 10:23 [ Do All to the Glory of God ] “All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.

1 Corinthians 14:40 but all things should be done decently and in order.

God Bless

Thank you. I appreciate being given the name. I knew it at one time, but I had forgotten it. I’m happy to have the reminder. 🙂

As for the correct spelling, I will let you and the other posters figure that out. 🙂
