This may seen trivial … I guess it is. My question is about the addition of blessed or exorcised salt being added to holy water. I understand this is one of the “formulae” of holy water. I also understand the addition of salt is exclusive to the Latin Rite and not a universal practice. It is still mentioned in the Cayholic Encyclodpedia. I was wondering if anyone knows if this practice contiunes or if it has gone by the wayside?
