Holy Water

The holy water fonts are, of course, emptied during the triduum in preparation for the blessing of the new holy water at the Easter Vigil.

My question is this: what should I do with the bottle of holy water I have at home? I am thinking of either drinking it or pouring it all over myself, then refilling it with the new holy water. I feel as though the enemy wouldn’t like that very much. What say ye?

I’m not sure, I don’t think you should waste it.

Every year on Maundy Thursday I dip my fingers into the empty bowl at the Church and wonder why it is empty before I realise why.
