Holy water

Can you pour holy water down a regular sink or does it have to be in the ground? Any documentation please.

Disposal of any Sacramental should include returning the item to its ‘earthly elements.’ Why not water your plants with the water?

Documentation? Not sure where to look for official documentation on the subject, but I do hope that common sense would suffice.

I ask, because at our church sometimes when the holy water fonts need cleaned out I think they just get poured out in the regular sink. Is this exceptable
