Really? I’ve heard one or two people in “real life” refer to the eucharist that way. But isn’t the thread already finished? No one has replied to it for days.

I am sort of in the same boat as the Original Poster. I am in the market of a New home and would like to have an Adoration/Prayer Room more prayer room than anything. Where I planned to hang a large Cruxifix and have a small statue of the Virgin Mary and Maybe St Micheal. With a couple of Kneelers. A Place in my house where I can invite friends and family over to pray or light a candle.
I havent commited to anything yet but Do have plans to have a preist bless my home to include the Prayer Room, but I thought I read somewhere that i needed to aske for permission and get it sanction before I “open it to the public” though my intentions were for personal use. I guess friends and family could technicaly mean public can any one shine any light on this situation. Thanks

I agree but, Then again thats what announcements are for.I have to say I am a little shockedand sad
I dont see any harm in placing an announcement before mass, reminding the members the correct way to show respect and receive the Holy Eucharist.
