I am such a DUH-mmy! I could of just told you to send the picture via message through your cell phone to your e-mail, right-click the pic in your e-mail and save it to a folder on your computer. Then you attach the pic when posting! But noooo, I had to explain it the hard way.

Peace.
Hey - I’m GLAD you gave that method - now I know how to get all the photos off my camera without having to go through the Sprint site!!!

Thank you!! 👍

I like this thread and I am glad I found it. I found this item in catholichomeandgarden.com

tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:xcNsF6LspJSurM:http://www.catholichomeandgarden.com/images/oak%2520altar%25201.jpg

It is a miniature home altar with slots to hold holy cards above and to either side of a crucifix. Does anyone here know where these are made?

Joe
I haven’t seen this item sold on the net but I have seen miniature home pocket shrines such as this that cost a pretty penny:

rubylane.com/shops/dorlandantiques/item/ST-119

Then you have the Spanish style retablo shrines of which many are sold on Ebay that cost less (from $25 and up):

search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&dfsp=32&catref=C6&from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=retablo&sacat=1446%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=ZIP%2FPostal&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=32&fsoo=2

or

This simple wooden shrine for $40:

It’s not exactly like the shrine you posted about but a good start.

Peace.

Glad I could be of help. 😃 Happy picture posting (hopefully a family home shrine pic or two?) hint hint 😉

Peace.

I really want to do that - and I was lying in bed last night trying to think of a place to put one in our inky-dinky little house. That’s going to be the trick. Maybe in my home office room…?? Hmmmm…

I don’t think they sale them like they use to long ago. I don’t think there is anyone making them.

You may be able to find something at King Richard’s Religious Antiques. kingrichards.com/store.php. It may be a bit pricey though. They have some really beatuiful kneelers:

Maybe try looking at some estate sales yourself and going to some antique malls. You may be able to find something similar.

And, if your willing to pay the price, possibly look into getting someone to build it for you?

Wow, the King Richards store looks like a fun place to go. I love seeing the home shrines and alters. I need to do this in my bedroom. You know I’ve been wanting a cross for inside my door and one in my bedroom. I need to shop!
