Sounds as if this priest has the smell of the sheep about him. Perhaps this priest can actually see Christ in the beggar (and therefore a better man than me, as I stuggle living in a city with lots of beggars).

Why the comment about SSA? I know of a priest with SSA and he’s a devout and exceptional priest and confessor.

Yes, this. At our downtown cathedral there are always homeless about, and only very rarely is there an actual issue (violent confrontation or threat of violence)… the ushers are good at deal with situations if they do arise.
Of course you need to have boundaries. I used to buy food for a fellow- not homeless just struggling - from time to time, but I had to ask him not to disturb me DURING Mass. Once he started tapping me on the shoulder right at the consecration. I’m happy to help before or after.

Thank you all for your valuable replies. I am going to call the police whenever he is inside the church during or around the times of mass. He is wanted for shoplifting and he is intimidating… I recently got fined hundreds of pounds for driving one mile over the peed limit and although I dont like it the ruling system of law however broken it all we have and I’m sure in a world ruled mostly by Christ he wouldnt even be where he is now and if he was then there would be amazing care plans for him… alas this is only hope.
