“Poor” is not equal to “criminal”. I should know, having grown up desperately poor. Statements like yours make me think Confession-worthy thoughts.
Are you still desperately poor?

If so, why?

And if not, why?

Since people have different opinions on this housing program let’s be fair about it. When and if Biden reinstates it why not first start implementing it in those suburban areas that had the highest percentage of votes for Biden.

But such a thing would never happen. Part of the idea is to flood an area whose present residents have one overwhelming political outlook with a group of people who have another. Those who want to do things like this are devious with such machinations. “It’s all about helping poor people succeed, to have a better life” they say, but the real reason is actually very different.

Are you saying many voters and even posters on this thread are ‘devious with such machinations’ and know ‘the real reason’ it’s being advocated?

No, perhaps not the folks on this board - they are simply being deceived as to the underlying intentions of those in the government who advocate such policies. Look at what the Democrats have done in our recent election - they have purposely undermined the integrity of the election process with their “mail in” voting scheme where ballots are sent to everyone regardless of a personal request, they advocate no voter ID’s, and have changed their election laws ¶ in the middle of the game in defiance of the Federal Constitutional mandate where only the state legislatures are the one’s empowered to set the election laws. In the end it’s all an exercise for complete political control and these people will stop at nothing to get it and maintain it.

I’m not sure you know what Anarchism is.
Definition: Anarchists as a political force or movement. When one political party no longer seeks to follow the governing document (Constitution) by operating out of it’s bounds, that is anarchy to me.

Nope, first hit on Google is pretty good.

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Government Anarchy as an ideology is an oxymoron, a bit like Post-Modern Neo-Marxism. These things don’t go together.

The same folks who whine about school vouchers want housing vouchers. I have doubts. The same folks who invented the red-lining and segregating of the modern city (New York) want to apply the same formula across the country. I have doubts.

Not desperately, but the struggle is still real.
And if not, why?
My family growing up was largely physically ill and incapable of holding down work for long periods at a time. There were long swaths of time where I was the only breadwinner. Some times were a little better when my sister could work too, but that went downhill when she developed a seizure disorder.

My partner and I don’t have those kinds of problems as of yet, so we’ve got some steady income.

I hope your life remains steady.

Was your family not eligible for disability? It seems fairly easy to claim in the U.S.

Your sister is certainly eligible for disability, right?

No. State healthcare, in Texas at least, is not easily accessible or generous in its benefits. I don’t have the time to go into more at the moment, unfortunately.

She actually passed away in April from the disorder. She didn’t qualify, however.
I hope your life remains steady.
Thank you. I do, too.

All we have to do to see anarchy is to look at the recent election and the things done by state level Democrats, many of whom are elected officials.

I don’t follow this. If the choice is between project housing or getting a housing voucher, I’d prefer to select my own neighborhood and use a voucher. The same applies to schools, this is what caring parents would naturally do.
