The Catholic Church NEVER loses truly committed faithful.
We lose pseudo-catholics, cafeteria catholics, heretics and schismatics all the time. Sadly, we will lose millennials because they have been brain washed by today’s culture of relativism. But the truly committed faithful stick around. We are also attract Christians from other denominations who have become disillusioned by their church’s flip-flops. These people are looking for a Religion that stands for something and does not fall for current popular opinion.
The Catholic Church has weathered numerous heresies, schisms and assaults from Roman Emperors to Martin Luther…and we are still here preaching the Truth.
One hundred years from now the Church will look back on the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court Decision as nothing more than one of the many little wacko problems we seem to solve every day with the grace of God.
