Happy and fulfilling relationships? Not true, otherwise, in the Netherlands and Sweden, examples of highly secularized countries with very open societies, years ahead of the U.S. whereby homosexuals have been freely associating and ‘marrying,’ they would not remain at risk for morbid depression and suicide. Of note, these are societies where there is a large atheistic / agnostic population or without a faith affiliation. Further, your claim that gay couples seem to live happy and fulfilling relationships, having the same emotional and sexual desires as heterosexual couples is another untruth. Monogamy and fidelity are issues in ‘committed’ gay couples. Take a read of these two articles, the second a study by gay researchers.

Yes, there are posters, self identified atheists like you, who come onto a Catholic board like this to say offensive things such as a “2000 year old book which is clearly fake.” And that no matter what (Catholic teaching says), being gay is okay. Don’t you just wish that more Catholics step to the atheist side because it would be easier to live a homosexual life without the reminders from religion and reason together that homogenital sexual expression is wrong?
Using the pressure of “new discoveries” in the social sciences and scientific fields is an old tactic by opponents to Church teaching. I don’t expect that you will agree that the Church in her wisdom takes the long view and bigger picture. It is not wise to form relationships based on a materialistic ideology and narrow personal / relational point of view, disregarding the individual’s physical and spiritual health and the common social good.
There are members who come to this board identifying as Catholics like two posters upthread but they set aside Catholic teaching on the sinfulness of homosexual acts. They clearly want to wash out its association with sin by looking to a justification. They justify by changing the historic condemnation of homosexual acts and re-interpretation of scripture. No matter how much it is iterated or explained here, they throw together unchanging eternal laws (e.g., homosexuality which St. Paul covered among other transgressions in his Letters in the New Testament) and temporal / cultural edicts (e.g., eating shellfish). They realize that at the core of the rejection of such behavior over the centuries is the religious factor. They ardently wish for it to be erased. Not only that, they are so bold now to claim rights to gay ‘marriage’ and ‘creation’ of families, against God’s law as written in the Commandments and the holy book, and in the hearts of men.
Finally, more for the benefit of readers following this thread, among other false things in your post is this part that needs addressing: anyone who is homosexual is a sinner and will not be allowed into the heaven upon the death and will he handed over to the devil. Homosexual sins are forgiven if repented before or upon death. There is the matter of invincible ignorance which may mitigate, explained here.
