There’s cause for caution… to be sure you are certain and clear-headed on the subject. But I think at the end of the day, to honor a parent like that would be to rebuke them and call them to repentance.

Yes, we are to always *honor *our parents.

I suggest that you read the entire Catechism section on the fourth commandment regarding responsibilities of minor and adult children towards their parents.
