That’s ok, we won’t make you spend extra days in purgatory for that. (I did not know there is a Saint Hope.) But otherwise, Hope is pretty essential in this life.

(It reminds me of Pandora’s box. I can’t remember if all hope was lost or not after the box was opened, but anyways, it wasn’t good. 💥 )

@theRestoftheCommunity… Come on, you guys, we need your Saints. Dead line is midnight tomorrow. Otherwise, there will be extra days in purgagtory for each day your assignment is not turned in.

St Seraphim’s bear reminds me of St Jerome’s lion, although it’s possible the lion was the friend of a St Gerasmus who got confused with Jerome.

Blessed Miguel Pro disguised as a workman and as a businessman to avoid the police. Notice how a policeman is walking right past him.

Ok, fine, you guys don’t want to post dates? I don’t care.

😡😭😡😭😡😭🤬😭😭😭

I don’t know the exact dates of these, but for an old person like me it’s easy to see that the picture of Fr Jerzy was late 1970s or early 1980s based on the (awful) decorating scheme.
The ones of Fr. Pro would have been in the 1920s, before 1927 when he was caught and executed .

My father was a big fan of him and Walesa. They were in the news constantly, even the US news which ignores a lot of European stuff.

There really needs to be more books and such about him in English. I went to his grave, which is at his old church in the yard, and the gift shop really didn’t have much.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, S.J. trampling upon the heresiarch Martin Luther with the power of the Most Blessed Sacrament. I think this glorious depiction is fitting, since a few days ago was the 500 year anniversary of when Luther began his destruction of Christendom.

St. Edmund Campion, S.J. brutally martyred by English Protestants for his Catholic Priesthood.

Pope St. Pius V and Pope St. Pius X
Both holy and glorious defenders of Catholic Tradition

Pray for us!
