Hope for the Future

Hello,
I am new to all of this but came on here after being inspired by my campus priest’s words about hope tonight at mass.

I am in need of prayers for hope and trust in the Lord. I am going through a rough couple of months because many of my friends have steady boyfriends or are about to be engaged and I really need to place my trust that the Lord will take care of me and find me a future husband who will treasure me for the woman of God that I am.

Please do not get discouraged. Maybe God has someone special in mind for you, you just aren’t ready for him yet. Make sure you grow in faith and wisdom so you become the best woman you can be. The better you are, the more a man has to rise to become worthy of you, so you will land a better husband. Also make sure you open your eyes for signs from God. You never know whom or what he has in mind for you. And not everyone’s vocation is marriage, so you should be open for signs about other vocations as well (single life, religious life). God is wise and holy and will take care of you. I will pray for you.

Praying for God’s will to be done in your life with no obstacles to his will. May you keep praying and growing in virtue until our Lord puts a man worthy of marriage in your life. May you not give into discouragement but place all your trust in the Lord to help you find a good spouse when the time is perfectly right for you to meet him. Amen.
