You believe in God therefore you should be certain instead of having only hope.

You are speaking of “wishing”, not of “hoping” - hope is in the Will and is determined (set in its direction); hope is not in the imagination of “what might be if we are lucky.”

That’s pretty much exactly what the Christian virtue of hope actually is… the certainty and desire, through faith, for those things which are as of yet unseen!

Did he really gave up his life? Because he got resurrected so his life came back to him, nothing was given for ever.

Yes Jesus Christ really did give up His Life, and die for you and me. He was born without sin, just as Mary was. He and Mary were never under any influence or domain of the prince of the world, satan. Born with no stain of Original Sin, neither Jesus or Mary could be sinners, could be influenced by satan.

Jesus Christ , guiltless and free of sin, took on our sin and died for it. Underwent excruciating pain, both emotional and physical for us. In doing this Jesus Christ defeated satan and death for us.

He was resurrected by His Father, God. Remember the Angel at the Tomb? The one who freaked the Roman Guards out? Rolled back the stone.

You got it. Jesus Christ gave up His life for us, in an extremely brutal and excruciatingly painful way. To defeat satan. We need to start realising this. We too can defeat satan, live in the imitation of the Life of Jesus.
And imagine what His Mother, Mary , went through. And St John. Watching.

We too, now , can kick satan out of our lives, Begone satan! It isn’t easy, but it wasn’t easy for Jesus either was it.

I think It was Pope Paul of the 2nd Vat Council era who brought satan and his attempt at global spiritual warfare back into focus.

Yes satan has domain in the world
Yes Jesus defeated satan on the Cross
Yes we can defeat satan in our lives too.

Say NO to sin and YES to Jesus, That is faith and hope.

After all Jesus is our King, our Lord of Lords. We expect our King to lay down His life for His people. We were not worthy for this great gift of our King.
