Hopeless & heartbroken

Not only am I totally hopeless, I’m also totally heartbroken. This guy I thought I was dating told me he has been dating someone else for “awhile”. My life is a mess and I don’t understand why God would bring him into my life, then after one incident, bring him back into my life. I’ve been through this before and I feel sick to my stomach. Please pray for me.

Thank God that his true nature was reveled to you before things went any farther. Bad relationships make you realise when you find a good one and always reminde you to hold onto it. I really do feel your pain. I hated Dating. Keep your head up, your the one who was doing the right thing.👍

There is a reason for this. Pray especially hard and ask the Lord what he wants you to do with this; whether it is to enlighten you about this person, learn to forgive this person, or show this person what ‘mercy’ is all about. Maybe God sent this person to you because you are a wonderful child of God that can show this guy something. There is a reason for this, You could be the key to something wonderful.

I can say this because my first two husbands left me for other women ( I am extremely shy and quiet) but my current husband is a wonderful man and I would not have met him without going through husband #1 and #2. They all led to a chain of events to bring me to my current wonderful husband of 20 years.

“Be still and know that I AM”

Good luck and I will pray the Holy Spirit reveals the purpose of this temporary pain and shows you why this happened. In the meantime, offer all your heartbreak to Jesus and tell him thank you for all the pain he endured for us on the cross.

May God watch over you February, and keep you safe from harm. If He brings you to it, He will surely bring you through it. May He grant you an abundance of gifts, strength, courage, forgiveness, faith, and patience. But mostly, may he grant you love. Love for this man who has brought sadness into your heart, and love for the man who will bring joy to replace it. Love for God, for granting us the opportunity to feel such sadness and joy, for without Him, we are nothing.

May your search be fruitful February, and may God be with you as you struggle to find a partner to walk through life with. God Bless!

Dear Lord encircle your child February with caring and loving Catholics whom she can fellowship with about our Lord and build long term friendships . Lord bring a special man into her life who will love her and be true to her . Heart break is awful but be comforted that Mary knows your pain, she watched her own Son crucified by our sins. Turn to her because here motherly love never leaves us.

I’m praying for you. Know that god has his best intetion when it comes to your life, sometimes we cannot see the reasons why people come into our lives…i would suggest not trying to figure out God’s intetitions on why this happened but ask him for the grace to help you out of this sitaution your are in and grow closer to him

Dear February,
Aha! I just posted a similar post, with a few additions for other people, but I COMPLETELY understand this broken heart. I have also been there before, and recently discovered that my ex is now in a relationship with someone else. Although it is not the same situation, regardless–it is SO difficult to let go of someone you gave a piece of yourself to. the ONLY thing you can do is pray, and put one foot in front of the other, and know that people all around you (and some you dont even know) are saying little prayers for you all the time. Sometimes life just stinks, but something positive always comes, it just takes time. I will put you in my prayers, and keep your chin up–it’s Easter!
