Hi all,

I’ve had a couple of horrible nightmares. I don’t normally share dreams or anything, but these scared me so much that I’m wondering if they mean anything.

In the first dream, which I had about 6-7 days ago…I’m going to hear a priest’s talk at some retreat center about the presence of sin and darkness and the powers of Satan…We were outside as he was giving us a brief overview of his talk and I woke up as we were walking into the building. I woke up freaked out.

Then about 3 days ago, I had the same dream again, except…when we were outside and the priest was giving us an overview, he mentioned satan and the powers of him in today’s world…at that moment…there was a ‘flash’ of darkness that was as “bright” as lightning–if that makes sense…It was black–blacker than black–and I woke up right after this.

I’m hoping that these are dreams that are just that, and I hope that I don’t have any more of them. Could they possibly mean anything???

Thanks,

Barbara

I will not say that there might be a message there but for now I know what I would pray and tell Jesus, is that you dont know what they mean so then give them up to Jesus leaving them at the foot of the cross as unresolved information until He alone shares with you any thing He wants to do with them.

"Be you not afraid, for Ihave overcome"

Godbless.

Pray to God to help you understand these dreams.
Or simply request that you dont have them anymore.
If God is trying to tell you something through your dreams, ask him to relay it another way, in a not so frightening dream.
God bless

I would let go of these dreams and not consider them anymore. I know that is hard to do as how they where planted. I’ve had nightmares that would curl your hair, direct contact with the evil one. He tries to occupy your thoughts on him, to derail, to mislead, to doubt. I’d go to adoration and adore the one who wants your attention. Focus on Jesus and His life. Wonder on His eternal majesty and the mysteries of the Trinity. Adjust your eyes to the light of salvation. You can’t see in that darkness you spoke about. Tim

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5** And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. **
