I am so sorry, I must seem like such a complainer by now. I am the sickest I have been in a long time and I feel so very alone…there’s no one to talk to about this.

I went to my doctor today and she thinks that instead of a stomach ulcer (for which I am being treated right now), I might have a fractured bone in my ribcage that is infected. More needles. More scans. And more medication that will make me sicker than I already am. But what frightened me the most, is that stomach cancer cannot be ruled out at this point. I am losing weight, I have chills, I can’t eat, and now I have a fever.

Please pray for me. I am not sure I can handle anymore of this. Some bad stuff has happened with family and friends lately, and I am about to completely lose it. I hate being sick all the time, I hate being alone, and sometimes I just do not want to live anymore. It might as well be a freaking life-threatening illness. 😦

I am sorry for this. I just needed to vent a little. I will probably be visiting the ER tonight if my condition worsens. Please pray…

Praying for you right now.
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be…

They would be failing their job if they didn’t check you, but the statistics say that stomach cancer is extremely rare under the age of 30, and isn’t even common then. The incidence goes up gradually with age. They just do not want to miss something that is far easier to treat when it is found early.

Young people under a lot of stress do get ulcers, though. The numbers say that is far more likely to be what is causing your suffering. You are in good care, though, so know that you will be treated for whatever you have by some of the best medicine available in the history of mankind. Do your part: relax as much as you can.

You can do this; take it one day at a time. Learn the Serenity Prayer (the long form); it does help. You are going through something hard, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have great things ahead of you. Let God lead you through it, so that the dross will burn off and He will be left with your gold. It is hard, but it is worth it to become His crown. I don’t think God tests the good ones and not the bad ones, but the Lord is absolutely a teacher who will bring the best out of you when your going through life’s exams, if you consent to learn from him.

Hi lovedance4ever,

I am so sorry that you are so unwell, and that you have to go through so many tests and take medications that make you feel even worse.

Please don’t give up.

You are not alone, meaning that you have friends here.

I have been dealing with a chronic infection myself that comes and goes, where I have had to go back and forth to the doctor, have been back and forth to the ER and was hospitalized too, last year.

It stinks, so I understand.

I just try and take everything a day at a time, and a test at a time.

Pray to your Guardian Angel for comfort and strength, too. Your angel is there for you, too.

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.:hug1:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Go ahead and vent; I’m glad you wrote. You certainly have more than your fair share of trouble. I hope you feel better soon. I’m praying for your healing, and peace of mind.

I agree with the person who said go ahead and vent. But I also have another suggestion; perhaps you can join your suffering with that of Jesus and offer it up for someone. Maybe someone in your family who has left the Church for example. I don’t want to go into my situation too much but I too have to deal with pain daily so I can sympathize so again go ahead and vent.

Thank you to all who took the time to respond to my miserable post! lol

The results are in: Apparently, I have a fractured ribcage with an infection that has gone into the bone. Hence the fever, chills, nausea, stomach pain, etc. It’s still really uncomfortable, but at least I have an idea about what’s wrong with me. It is so much better than guessing and thinking you are dying.

Thanks again, everyone! God bless.
