I don’t know where to buy them. Anyone around here that knows about them seems to make them themselves. They confuse and ignite my scruples on some level because it seems like cake.don’t know if it’s just local or not…are there any places in the US where it is traditional…I’ve never really heard anyone here mention them neither…I guess they’re just not an America wide traditional thing for Easter…they are delicious…smothered with butter.
I think because so many parts of the US are less Liturgical varieties of Christian without lent or fasting, hot cross buns are not a widespread custom. I first heard of them when our music teacher taught us to play a song about them on plastic recorders.
