It’s not on my account, therefore I didn’t post the video. Heck, I don’t even have a youtube account. Just because I keep telling people to watch it doesn’t mean I have added a virus to it. Why would I do that? I don’t even know how to do something as complex as that. I tell people to watch it so they will see my point.
I doubt it would mean much to you if I told you that the video on the Beatles is nothing but bunk, would it?

:rolleyes::whistle::whacky:🤷:confused::hypno::dts:😉
since I have been accused before of not using smilies to indicate sarcasm, irony, humor, etc. here is a collection, pick an emotion and run with it.

just because this landed on the Traditional forum (talk about being high) does not mean you have to take this discussion so seriously

and yes I watched the “trash” videos (after all the ads) and they are as wacko as the people who believe in them

what is most ironic is a denizen of the TF using utoob to back up their opinions
was I taking it too seriously? :o

Not all rock and roll is the Devil. But some is, particularly rock from back then. You have to understand that the Devil is in some music. If you watch the video I posted on the Beatles, you would see that it is true. It’s on page 3 of this thread.
I mean no disrespect here, but when you embark on this path of enlightening all of us as to the nuances you’ve discovered in your research of the Beatles yet confuse Lennon with Lynn… well, I wonder how objectively and thoroughly you really looked into this.

No, that doesn’t mean much. Clearly it seems that those videos alone are not convincing. Whatever, I’m not going to spend hours and hours trying to convince people it’s true when they deny it is even with evidence right in front of them.

Right back at ya. Plenty of people already provided plenty of links and evidence to disprove your position and I’m sure you never denied those, right?

I read it that time.

And wow, that’s just pathetic. Making peace with a band that had Satanic messages in their songs. That doesn’t tell me the Beatles are ok now though, it makes me want to avoid their music even more.
okay…God bless you.

I guess it doesn’t matter that the Beatles and other bands had Satanic messages in their songs. I guess we should forget about those rumors, because according to you and others that’s just what they are, “rumors”. I guess we should not be concerned that we might be listening to evil music.

Seriously, that’s not a good way to look at something like this, therefore why I was being sarcastic there. If that’s the way you want to look at this situation, something that won’t do us any harm, then you’re free to do that. But I will not listen to the Beatles songs or any other song with Satanic messages in them ever again if I know those songs have such messages. You can’t do something that might be wrong just because it doesn’t seem wrong to you. I ask myself in situations like these “is this really something God wants me to do?”. God clearly will not approve of such evil songs, and you shouldn’t be listening to them just because it doesn’t seem logical that they could contain evil messages.

By the way, what does this have to do with the Eagles and Hotel California. The thread seems a bit derailed. 🙂

You know, I don’t give evil any creedence or credit. I don’t envoke it’s name, nor do I go “looking” for it’s “perceived” evil messages. Evil loves press…and exposure. You dear OP are giving it great press.

I have listened to the Beatles since 1964 and I was the young age of 6. I have alot of their albums. I grew up with the Beatles. I prefer them over the Rolling Stones…but hey, just my preference. I like Led Zeppelin and I have all their albums. My husband likes the Doors and CCR. I like to listen to most bands from the late 60’s to mid 70’s. Not a fan of disco…or any of the new so called rock and roll. My daughter like “club” mixed music as she likes to dance. My son likes techno music and his fav band is Cold Play.

I think you are looking too hard into this and trying to find someone who agrees with you. Looks like here it is a lost cause. 🤷

It would totally rock if God was listening to “Life Goes On” by the Beatles when I reach the pearly gates.

Friend, do you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe you may be mistaken about some things? I’ve been to many places and I’ve met many people but I have never met anyone who thought that they knew all things all the time. It’s obvious that you know nothing about the Beatles or their music, so please don’t try to tell the many of us who have been listening to it for decades what it “is.” You will always find evil in everything if you go looking for it; try to find some beauty now and then instead.

I just brought the Beatles up earlier and someone dis-agreed with my claim. So now I guess this has turned into a thread to discuss possible evil messages in all songs that may have them, not just Hotel California.

I am aware that I don’t know everything. No human is capable of knowing everything, only God does. I’ll admit that over my life-time I have been wrong about plenty of things, I’m not afraid to admit that. I think accusing me of thinking I know everything is over-exaggerating.

Anyway, I don’t go looking for evil in everything. But you must be cautious on things because the Devil will try to put his fingerprints on anything he can. Basically you’re telling me that there is no way in 1,000,000 years I’m right on this. Yet let me ask you about the same question you asked me. The whole time you’ve been posting on this thread, have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe the Beatles music IS evil? If John Lennon himself admitted he was into evil things then I don’t know how you could even deny the possibility. You can’t overlook such things. That’s what the Devil wants everyone to do, he wants us to overlook such things so that we will buy into it. Please, atleast examine the possibility instead of telling me there’s no way I could be right.

Whether someone agrees with me or not doesn’t really make much of a difference, I’m just trying to warn people of the evil messages that are contained in such songs.

And by the way, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and the Rolling Stones are all accused of having had Satanic messages in their songs. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are garaunteed to have had evil messages, not 100% on the Rolling Stones though. I’d have to look that up.

I can assure you, God won’t be listening to any music that contains Satanic messages in it. I don’t know if that particular song does, but even if it doesn’t you still won’t find God listening to any music sung by a band like that.

Many of your posts are written from a point of view that you are correct and everyone else is wrong, no matter how many posters point out your flaws and errors. This is not my personal opinion, it is based on the evidence of your own posts. Just this one thread is enough to support my assertion.

The length of time has nothing to do with anything. If you are wrong about something now then you will be wrong about it 1,000,000 years from now. Time does not cure error.
Yet let me ask you about the same question you asked me. The whole time you’ve been posting on this thread, have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe the Beatles music IS evil?
No, I haven’t. Why? Because there is nothing evil to it. If a song such as Yesterday or And I Love Her is evil, then everything from Shakespeare to the Song of Songs may very well be evil. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder so, then, too is evil.
If John Lennon himself admitted he was into evil things then I don’t know how you could even deny the possibility. You can’t overlook such things. John Lennon (a.k.a John Lynn:D) did drugs at one time in his life, drank too much at one time of his life and was a rotten husband and father to his first wife and child. Does that make him evil? Not to me; to me it means that he was human, just like the rest of us. The fact that he wrote some really good songs doesn’t matter one pinch of pepper. If you apply this kind of litmus test to the Beatles, then our entire libraries will not have any books in them, for many of the great writers had their own demons to deal with. Would you be so bold to declare Edgar Allen Poe’s works as “evil” because he was a horrible alcoholic? Is Rogers and Hart’s music “evil” because Lorenz Hart was a drug addict? What about the many homosexual authors and songwriters; are their works evil? Just because a person has shortcomings and failings doesn’t mean that the fruit of his works is “evil.” It really is a very silly and narrow minded position to hold.

Please, please, please supply us with some examples of Satanic messages in the Beatles music. Pretty please.

1.- As I said, I know I’m not right on everything. I never stated that. And really, several people post on here AS IF they think they’re right on everything, but it doesn’t mean they are, nor does it mean they think they are.

2.-You can’t just say “it isn’t evil”. I’m beginning to question you ever watching the video I posted on the Beatles. If you had, you would have seen the messages that were contained in some of their songs.

3.-No, but what does make John Lennon’s (ok,ok, I can show a sense of humor too… a.k.a Lynn 😃 ) actions evil is the fact that he admitted he was against Christianity. Something else that was contained in the video I posted. The video even says he and his wife sacrificed an animal to Satan. Quite disturbing. Like I said, Satan will put his fingerprints on anything he can. Music, video games, movies, books, etc. They say Satan is the master musician behind music. Not all music, but some music. You can’t say it’s impossible just because it doesn’t seem possible to you.
