The House of Loretto is part of our Catholic history as it was the home of Our Lady. Since Our Lady’s assumption, it has been moved around the world on more than one occasion.

My question is this:

Does the “moving around” of the house constitute a private revelation? Does private revelation consists solely of heavenly personages speaking to people on earth?
 
I would not call it a private revelation but more of a pious tradition.

The house is venerated as Our Lady’s home, but there is doubt surrounding the accounts of the miraculous “translation”.
