I used to look at only one sense of this expression “my house shall be a house of prayer for all people” as meaning that all nations are called to worship there. That makes complete sense to me.
But, lately, I’ve thought of another sense – that the Church should be praying for all people, which should be true always, too.
The second sense has given me a whole lot more things to pray about.
