I don’t think this source meets the restrictions of the news forum so I am posting it here. It is, however, a current situation.

His family – armed with a medical power of attorney – obeyed his wishes and told the doctors to continue his medical care and treatment.

But his doctors disagreed. They had other plans.

They formed a committee under Texas law, which is essentially the same death panel laws found in Obamacare, to decide whether Willie should continue living in their hospital.
 
I get the impression many details are missing from this story. It doesn’t add up. It is hard to have a judgement based on emotional, third hand information.
 
I’m with pnewton, something is not right about that article. There is a lot of information missing.

I’m with you guys.

I subscribed to the thread last night, hoping to see more information posted.

I spent most of last year at the hospital with family members. I lost both parents. There is always more to the story.
