That the Catholic Church should not be surprised by this.
Apparently the ideal of feminism is the refusal to do what the female was created for.
This is the greatest internal threat, added with all the outside threats like contraception and the secular world promoting or forcing the idea of child-bearing as being something costly and degrading.Yes, they were all Catholic. Yes, the church hierarchy disapproved. No, none of them much cared; they were women of faith, but in some matters the male clergy is perhaps not wholly equipped to discern the true will of God. The lady was pouring tea into china cups at her dining table as we talked, and her voice was matter-of-fact. “Everyone was doing it,” she said.
Interesting POV.I think it is the same mortal moral illness afflicting the rest of the developed world. People still worried about overpopulation are badly outdated. Momentum due to longer life expectancy will enable global population growth rates for another couple decades. Past that, this planet is in for a totally unprecedented experience of population implosion that no prior human civilization has ever really recovered from. Population crashes like the one coming have always come with chaos and barbarism.
The root cause is the same everywhere. An honest and true recognition of how mistreated women have been over the centuries was distorted and twisted from something potentially very good into something appalling. Instead of changing society to reflect the fact that bearing and rearing children is the most precious human activity of all, the feminists allied with the mysoginists and agreed that “being a baby factory” is demeaning, degrading and inherently a second rate vocation.
Take heart, you moms out there. I, for one, think you’re worth more than all the doctors, lawyers, firemen and engineers put together. It’s suicidal society that says you’re not.
And, where exactly, is the Catholic Church in all this?
So you’re saying women are just for making babies thenApparently the ideal of feminism is the refusal to do what the female was created for.
Contrary to the will and intention of God. Of the Devil. Simple enough.
That has always been the worldly (e.g. dominant) point of view, generally speaking:shrug:I think it is the same mortal moral illness afflicting the rest of the developed world. Of men and women, which are anatomically capable of having babies? So you’re saying women are just for making babies then![]()
That is not an answer.Of men and women, which are anatomically capable of having babies?![]()
Neither is that. That is not an answer.
Good article on this subject:Apparently the ideal of feminism is the refusal to do what the female was created for.

By the way, the whole Mindszenty Web site is excellent … and if you can get to their seminars, so much the better.
I guess you had to actually read the article and then research the many references.Ah yes, another conspiracy theory![]()
ReallyNeither is that.
I never implied that females’ only duty is to “make babies”, but it is an indisputable fact that females are the only members of the species that can actually have babies, thus it is part of their divine mission.
I read the article, and I was not impressed.I guess you had to actually read the article and then research the many references.
This makes me laugh.I guess you had to actually read the article and then research the many references.

Regarding your second source, I consider Phyllis Schlafly the vilest sort of hypocrite.I guess you had to actually read the article and then research the many references.
