I’m new to this site, as well as a recent convert to Catholicism. I was confirmed in a Latin rite church. I realize I’m not allowed to “switch” rites, but am I permitted to attend Mass at an Eastern Rite church? If not, why? If so, then what are the stipulaitons if any? Thanks!

Pax,
Kyle

Hi,

Sure! Not only may you attend the liturgy regularly in a Catholic rite other than your own, you may actually become a member of the parish without changing rites. I bet you’re glad you asked!
