How are annulments for Protestants handled?

I married in the Catholic Church in 1981 and Divorced in 1999. I have since gotten remarried to a Lutheran. We are exploring the annulment process in the Catholic Church so we can have our marriage blessed. I am clear on what the process is for me, but cannot seem to get an answer for what the process entails for my husband. Will he also have to seek and annulment for his first marriage in the Lutheran church in order for us to get our marriage blessed in the Catholic Church? What are the requirements from the tribunal as far as what is expected from him and his ex – wife?
