How are you able to "see" Jesus in everyone, including the mean/rude, etc?

Look not upon the creatures of God except with the eye of kindliness and of mercy, for Our loving providence hath pervaded all created things, and Our grace encompassed the earth and the heavens.(Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 32)

If you can’t see Jesus in another person it could be because they are very sick spiritually. But they are still Jesus - just a sick Jesus. Pray to Jesus to heal them.

How can we help ourselves “see” Jesus in every human being like we are supposed to? What are some “tips” to remember this when we are confronted with someone who is being mean or rude, etc.?
One person at a time 🙂

Pick someone who you meet most of the time, especially one who you don’t like too much…someone you loath even! 😃 Then try to see Jesus in him/her…and not just see Him, talk to Him, celebrate with Him, cry with Him, have mercy on Him, pray for Him, etc. Do your best to REALLY see Jesus in him/her.

Then, add another person after a few days, then another, then another…

From what I’ve read of Mother Teresa in Calcutta, she saw Christ in people who did not know Him, and treated them accordingly, even if there was no relent in the darkness.

This though helped me:
You would revere a crucifix, wouldn’t you, even if the artist did a poor job?
