How Blessed and lucky are we Catholics? Thank you, Lord, for all our blessings You have bestowed on us, your lowly servants and sinners.
It’s overwhelming to be Blessed (and occasionally, a blessed burden) by 2000+ years of Catholicism and Christianity, on top of our Old Testament foundation. The Beliefs, the Sacraments, the Traditions…
I am still learning so much about the Faith, and I want to absorb it all, right now! I hope that I have a long lifetime to learn everything about the Faith.
Right now, I’m taking a class, offered by the Diocese, about the Catechism. So awesome that so many people are participating and learning along side me; I feel like a babe in the woods, unlearned yet believing.
The Rosary is such a Blessed Joy; the Prayers, the Saints, sooooo so much I love about the Faith and the Church.
To know and believe in the true Church, the true Faith, directly from our Savior Himself, Jesus Christ!
The Holy Trinity, with our loving Father, Savior Jesus Christ, Fire and Grace of the Holy Spirit.
Our Holy Pope, and the entire succession of Popes, from Peter, designated by Christ Himself.
Oh the JOY of being surrounded by our Church, our Lord, THE only God!!
My heart bursts with Joy of our Faith and the burden that we are blessed with! We are often held to the highest standards; why? Because, deep down, I think so many who persecute the Church know that Catholics are the first and real Church.
Oh that everyone could know this, and feel this, and live this! I respect others and their choice of religions; but I believe that Catholicism is the True Faith, Christ’s Living Church. Must one be a certain Faith to enter the Kingdom of God? That is not for me to determine or judge. I know that I am meant to be Catholic…and yes, I heard those Words directly from Him.
God Bless you and I hope that we can all feel this Joy, especially while suffering or despairing in our daily lives. God help us to live the Faith, keep the Faith and Honor the Faith.
I have been feeling this ‘post’ for some time now, and felt compelled to share it with you today. The Joy has increased while doing so. God, please help me to share this same Joy every day with those that I meet, no matter where it is.
