(Let me start with i’m no upset with the teaching of the church with men becoming priest or deacon. )

My questions is how can a female become more educated in her faith. A married man can take years of studies to become a deacon. Is there something similar for women?.

After joining the Catholic faith 2yrs ago, i have read every book on conversion, go on lots of Catholic sites daily but feel loss and empty because i want to learn more and give more back to my church.

I’m already part of our RCIA group at my church and have created a web site for them but that is really behind the scenes. My passion is my Faith, i’m still trying to find how God wants to use me.

Outside of taking college classes, which i have done that too, are there any courses, books, websites or retreats a young married women may take to grow in faith?

God bless and thank you for your time,
Yani

Pretty much all the same ways a male can: pray, read books and magazines/journals, listen to or watch other media, converse with knowledgeable people, join communities or groups that encourage spiritual formation and education, attend classes or schools (formally or informally), etc.

Terrific!

What kind of education and/or spiritual formation do you have in mind?

Thank you and you are right. I going to speak to the religious director at our church to maybe guide me and figure out from my mumble jumble what i’m really feeling. The problem is i’m drawn to the RCIA since i went through it but lately i’ve been reading more about Natural Family Planning and the theology of the body. Not sure what i could do there but that’s where i’m now. I’m open to many options in the church, guess fear is what’s holding me back, I’m all over the place, i hope something sticks lol. This site always helps, thank you for your time 🙂 GodBless!
