How can God desire worship?

Because if you desire God your desire is to please and imitate him. You choose to imitate him obey him and make him happy. You always try to please your master. If you choose to desire evil or yourself and choose things of this world you will never find happiness. Just look as around. Do you want to be happy and find peace follow God. If you want unhappiness follow yourself which in turn means be your own God and you will find unhappiness. Why? Because there is no true happiness outside of him

He demands it for our own good. God made you for Himself to have a share in His Eternal Life; He who is perfect Truth, Goodeness and Love itself desires to sanctify you to make you perfect so you can see Him.
