I’ve always wanted to be apart of the Church, my grandfather is Catholic but never took me to a Church. I want to also do things like attend Mass and Confession.

Welcome home to the Church. Phone the nearest Catholic Parish and ask . They will enrol you in RCIA

Greeneggs,

Contact any Catholic Parish and ask them about joining.

You are welcome now to attend Mass anytime you like, you are only asked to refrain from receiving Communion until you are received into the Church.

The Sacrament of Confession reconciles a penitent with God and with the Church. Though you should refrain from this Sacrament until you are well on your way to being received into the Church. I write this on the assumption that you are baptized (your profile indicates that you are Christian). If you are not baptized, there is no need for Confession at this time as when you are baptized ALL sin is wiped from your soul. If you want to talk with a priest, just make an appointment to discuss your concerns.

Welcome, and be a peace.

Also, find their Mass schedule and the various devotions from the weekly bulletin … on line and print copies … and just attend various “events” … just sit in the back.

Depending on the time of the year, there are daily Masses and also Stations of the Cross, … that sort of thing.

And there are social events.
