How can I get a missal

I was just wondering if there was a way I can get a missal. the church I go to doesn’t have any and wont order any. I am at kinda a loss as I would really like to follow along better and think it would help me learn mass faster and have a better understanding. Thanks guys

Ive been wondering the same thing. Been looking aroung and so far this is the best I could find. They will even send you a free sample. Ordered one but have not yet received it.

You can purchase missals from various sources …

Though the parishes I attend have missal, I purchased Spanish language missals two seperate times when I knew I was traveling to countries where Spanish was the vernacular language of the mass [Mexico and Guatemala] … Ignatius Press was where I purchased those …

I have subscribed to the Magnificat [very good:thumbsup:] at various times and of course you can also purchase a Missal that can be used year after year * …its much like my Book of Christian Prayer [Liturgy of the Hours] thinner - similar format with the format of the Mass at the beginning and the readings organized by the Sunday and/or Season [and the year A, B, C … and for daily Masses year A, B]…

Good Luck … but don’t just ‘read along’ all th time … The Word of God proclaimed and received by hearing can be spiritually rewarding 🙂 …*
 
I have one on my iPhone! I think I paid $1.99 for it. It’s the exact same one we use in our parish. Our RCIA leader also told us that we could buy one from the parish office for a nominal fee.😉
 
Wow, our parish gives the away! We are a Jesuit parish and the province our priest belong to (Maryland Province) send us money to buy one year-long missal for each family.
