How can I find or keep up with writings from the Pope and past Popes? What should a good Catholic always be sure to read? How can I stay up to the minute with the Church?

Go to the website zenit.org/ and subscribe to their daily news service. You will receive a daily e-mail newsletter on Vatican news and papal speeches and writings.

There is no charge for the service, but you can make a voluntary contribution.

Yes, Zenit is a good resource for the daily news of the Church. Another good one is VIS, Vatican Information Services. It is the Holy See’s press office’s daily newsletter. It is also free of charge and they will deliver it to your e-mail address each morning.
Here is the link:

You can also check out L’Osservatore Romano, the Vatican’s semi-official newspaper. It has only a weekly edition in English.
Here is the link for that.

listen to the teachings from the pulpit, read a couple of good Catholic news sources, on-line or published, watch EWTN.
