Hi,
I like to ask the apologist, how to talk to the Jehovah Witness? Before that, I am very religious Catholic layman. Reading my bible, doing rosary with my family, reading about so many people who convert to Catholic, like Dr. Scott Hahn, Marcus Grodi and many more. I knew for sure about my faith. Because, the Holy Spirit Enlighten my life when the very first time I visit the Blessed Sacrament. And always praying for some relatives who are fall-away catholic and some friends who are not Catholic. Now, I met a couple of JW last week. And I told them that I am busy going some work in my backyard. But, I told them comeback next time and I will give them something. So, yesterday morning, I make a copy the “ONE CHURCH” and The Sacraments and the Bible" of John Martignoni. Then, in the afternoon they came again, but we are busy doing some house core like shampooing the carpet. But, I gave this copy of John Martignoni talk. And I told them to listen to this CD and come back next time. Then, this afternoon, they came back and return the cd’s. And they have question about the Cds. But, unfortunately we are busy again putting the Christmas decoration. So, I told them that I will talk to them when I have a free time.
My question is how to talk to them and convince them. The first time they came to me, I told them that their bible was came from the Catholic, and also about Matthew 16.18, And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. They told me to read the whole passage. Then, yesterday, I told them to read the Early Fathers letters to know what they saying about the Catholic Church. Actually, I have listen to many apologist like John Martignoni, Dr. Scott Hahn, Steve Ray, Mark Shea, Patrick Madrid and many more. I bought the book of Patrick Madrid, Where is that in the Bible? and Search and Rescue.
I want them to evangelist and bring back to the Catholic Church. I want to help them to have the know the TRUTH and come home. I want them to have the conversion. I always pray for theme to know the TRUTH about Jesus. I even watching the Journey Home of Marcus Grodi, I saw many converts from so many protestant pastors and layman. I want to become apologist, just to bring back our lost brothers and sisters, but I think I need to learn more. I haven’t finish reading the Bible.
So, give me some points how to talk to them and what topic I suppose to ask them.
