How can Muslims justify the persicution of Copts?

A Muslim who converts to Coptic Christianity may be forced to divorce his/her spouse. Although the government contributes financially to the construction of mosques and pays the salaries of Muslim clerics, no such aid is given to Copts. Rather, even the most trivial maintenance projects in churches or church-owned buildings require a building permit to be signed by the President. Many such applications have been delayed for decades. Copts are restricted from senior government, military, educational, and diplomatic positions.

They justify it because they see it as furthering Islam. When they know certain news will leave an unfavorable impression of Muslims to other groups of people, however (and thus posing as an inconvenience to Islaaam), their best hope is to prevent people from ever finding out. When possible, they attempt to lie to cover up such things. If that still doesn’t work, they just throw a tantrum or something.

One can sometimes wonder why the number of Muslim is growing. No one can deny that they convert by force and commit persecution.

The CC does not, nor do our Protestant brothers and sisters. This only proves to me that Islam is not the religion of God. It is not a peaceful religion.

It is religion founded by a heretic.

The other thing is that you have to rely on corrupt and oppresive governments in all the Muslim countries to provide numbers on their own religious demographics. Most of them will not even consider an apostate as having left Islam to begin with (and that is assuming that the apostate was brave enough to leave openly!). Also people tend to quote figures cited by Muslim propaganda operations like CAIR who inflate their numbers to try and look more impressive.

In any case, Islam does not grow very much by conversion. Most of the real growth that is there comes from the number of children they tend to have.

People over there, especially the poor, fervrently believe in the Islamic religion. I know you people here fervrently believe, but they just believe their sole purpose in life is to please God by spreading Islam, and they are much more fanatical than all but a few people in the US. You know how young men without great futures join gangs here in the US? Well, that’s what these fanatical groups are. Their versions of gangs. It gives these men a purpose, they believe theyre serving God, they become so blind to it that they don’t realize theyre actually going against their own religion. It;s like the top Nazi offers who convinced themselves the Jews needed to be annihilated. It’s not something we can understand…being willing to blow yourself up or children, or asking your child to die for the sake of the religion. But these people believe SO strongly, and so fanatically, that they just believe they are right and have become irrational. We can’t really try to understand them. In many ways, I feel sorry for children raised in that environment who end up being taught such hate, but at this point there’s no way of fixing it. The society has to evolve on it’s own, as Europe grew out of witchhunts and stuff. I really think the best we can do in the middle east is aid in earthquakes and hospitals and things, and show the children examples of kind Americans, to form their minds to not hate us.
