I have to get some answers to this.
So just as the title says, how can I be completely sure? For example, I am almost never entirely sure if I have had full will and/or full conscent. What if you have just a trace of will or conscent?
I am thinking of when a man looks at a lightly dressed woman and feels desire. Does that mean he can willfully look at her but without conscent? Or full concent but without will? To me it sounds a bit like a paradox.
Also, what if you think about if you have committed a mortal sin or not, and you decide that it was just venial, but you are wrong? What if it is indeed a mortal sin? Are you doomed without knowing it?
Thank you for your answers!
