Hi, jun, perhaps you need to explain more what you mean
It is true that sometimes we have to choose between two things which seem good. Sometimes this is because there are different levels of good.
My apple may seem good, and it is, but you can’t take it without asking just because you want it, because there is another level, the question as to whom the apple belongs. If you take and eat it just because it is good, you have done wrong, you have stolen my apple.
If you ask me for it and I give it to you, the apple is good, and what you have done is good/not wrong, because it is now morally yours.
Many things are good and attractive to us, but we have to take other moral aspects into consideration.
If the temptation to do what seems good is against a Christian value, especially of love, then it is sinful if we give into it. In your situation, you may wish to go out to see a movie when instead you have an assignment due next morning, you have given into temptation to ignore your duty.
If you do something which to you seems enjoyable but you know it will harm someone, it’s a temptation.
I’ve tried to answer a little, but actually you didn’t give me a lot to go on! If I have failed to respond as you wish, I imagine someone else may give you a better example than I do…but at 12 .33 am…and it could be argued that I responded to the temptation to try to reply to you when really I should be in bed asleep. It is good that I tried…but am I wrong to do so when I should be fair to my health!!!
