Pray, pray a lot and offer sacrifices for sinners… - Our Lady at Fatima

Can anyone give me examples of how we can offer sacrifices for sinners. I also watched EWTN Gallery about St. Josemaria Escriva and he said we should sacrifice something to Mary when we request something from her. Can anyone give me any idea as to how one can fullfill this?

So, you ask your wife which movie she’d like to see and she says, “Chick-flick lovey-dovey film 2007.”

You reply, “Let’s go to the 7:00 showing.”

This is sacrifice. (I’m being serious here, btw. It is sacrifice to cheerfully yield to the preferences of others, so long as it isn’t immoral or something.)

Cheerfully giving up the last Coke Zero to somebody else.

NOT blowing off tuck-ins for the kids with a quick thumbed Sign of the Cross on the forehead because 1 vs. 100 is on TV.

Cleaning the livingroom when one would rather sit in front of the computer and participate on CAF.

Ug. I think I left my personal cross under a pile of magazines years ago.

And Betsy, I agree. No cute remarks or fake weeping during the show either.

A good sacrifice is bearing our sufferings in a holy manner. (see Suffering in Holiness)

Another is to do something that you normally would not do that helps someone else or helps you grow in your faith or improve your health.

One way of offering sacrifice to God is to offer it ALL to God through Mary Immaculate.
I have been a *Slave of Mary * (according to the DeMonfort way) for over thirty years. Our dear Mother takes everything we do, think, and say! She makes of all our actions a gift pleasing to God…I rise in the morning and renew my slavery…I give her everything…she in turn has blessed us beyond belief.
Her Most Holy Son, Jesus, has show us this way!
I strongly urge anyone who is searching for a deeper understanding of Scripture and our Catholic Faith to read True Devotion to Mary.
I have read and reread this small book so many times but each time I discover another pearl of wisdom.
De Mariam num quam satis!
Of Mary there is NEVER enough!
