How can you tell if you’re truly sorry for your sins (doesn’t matter if it’s imperfect or perfect)?
I saw this one website where it said being truly sorry for your sins doesn’t mean sadness or self hatred. Doesn’t being sorry mean you’re sad you committed it and are angry with yourself for committing. Like when I one time committed a mortal sin and right after I felt terrible for doing it and was angry with myself for even doing it and sad that I did it. I haven’t done it since, so how do you really tell??
