How could Jesus have mentioned the Gospels before they even existed?

When you look at the Gospel of Mark, Mark 1:15 quotes Jesus saying, “Repent and believe in the Gospel.” I can’t help but to think that at the time, the Gospels haven’t been written yet. What was he talking about?
 
Hi,

Gospel means good news. Jesus was telling them to repent and believe the good news that their salvation was at hand. (Mk, 1:15)
