At the end of the day Prophet Muhammad was still a prophet of God, from the line of Ishmael.
My faith is not shaken one bit. It is called that unshakeable faith. Prophet Muhammad was sent as a mercy to the world, and his mercy extended to Europe, and brought them from the dark ages to the Renaissance. Europe had poor hygiene practices, which is what lead them into the dark ages, it was the Muslims of Spain who taught them cleanliness, which the Muslims had learn from Prophet Muhammad. Muslims also brought higher education to Europe.

Ismael is not a prophet in Judaism nor Christianity.
It’s only Islams claim that he was a prophet.

For argument sake Ishmael doesn’t have to be a prophet, for the prophecy to be true. In the bible it say, “As for Ishmael, I have heard thee. Behold I have blessed him… and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” (Genesis 17:20-21)
God blessed Ishmael and made Ishmael a great nation through Prophet Muhammad. And since the context of the bible is religion, greatness obviously relates to religion.
Also, the bible does not describe Ishmael as a prophet or a non-prophet. Islam describing him as a Prophet, would not be a contradiction.

Another thought…is Muslims did indeed bring higher education to Europe…how come it is only Europe that benefitted, and not the Middle east?
And it seems, all the great advances in science occurred in Europe, not in the Middle East…if indeed it was the Muslims who had higher education than those in Europe?

If the Prophet(PBUH) didn’t go through trials and tribulations, how would I know what to do if I am faced with the same. His life is an example to us, the good and the bad that happened to him. It shows us how merciful he was that he forgave the lady that poisoned him.
Life is not easy on this earth, especially for a messenger, we are going to be tested including Prophets and his actions and his teachings during difficult times enables me to show the same patience and perseverance during difficult times.

Our Imams (AS) confirmed that their grandfather, the Prophet (P), had been poisoned in his last days by Aisha and Hafsa, at the order of their fathers, Abu Bakr and Omar. One of the famous ancient Shia interpreters of Quran by the name of Ali Ibn Ibrahim Al-Qummi, who lived in the days of Imam al-Hassan al-Askry (AS), relates a Hadith as reported by the Imams regarding the assassination of the Prophet (P).
"The Prophet said to Hafsa: ‘I will tell you a secret. If you divulge it, Allah, His Angels and people will curse you.’ ‘So, what is it?’ wondered Hafsa. The Prophet said: ‘Abu Bakr will be able to seize the Caliphate and power after me, and will be succeeded by your father, Omar.’ Hafsa wondered: ‘Who informed you of this?’ ‘Allah, the Omnipresent, the Omniscient informed me.’
"On the same day, Hafsa divulged the secret to her friend, Aisha. In turn, Aisha divulged the secret to her father, Abu Bakr. So, Abu Bakr came to Omar and said: ‘My daughter Aisha told me a secret reported by Hafsa, but I cannot always trust what Aisha says. So, you ask your daughter Hafsa, make sure and tell me.’
“Omar went over to Hafsa, and asked her. In the beginning, she was startled and denied it. But, Omar said to her: ‘If you have indeed heard this secret, then, tell us so we can immediately seize power and get rid of Muhammad’. So, Hafsa said: ‘yes, he told me that.’ At this point, those four got together and conspired to poison the Prophet” (Tafseer al-Qommi, Vol II, Page 367, Bihar-ul-Anwar by Allama al-Majlisi, Vol XXII, Page 239).
It’s also narrated in Tafsir Al-Ayashi “Imam al-Sadiq (AS) was sitting with a group of his followers, and asked them: ‘Do you know whether the Prophet died a natural death or was murdered? Allah the Almighty says: “if then he died or is killed”. The truth is that the Prophet was poisoned in his last days before he died. Aisha and Hafsa administered poison in his food.’ Upon hearing this, the Imam Sadiq’s followers said that they and their fathers were among the worst villains ever created by Allah.” (Tafseer al-Ayashi, Vol I, Page 200; Bihar-ul-Anwar, by Allama Al-Majlisi, Vol XXII, Page 516)
Al-Ayashi relates another Hadith attributed to Imam Al-Sadiq (AS) in which he says: “al-Hussein Ibn Munther asked Imam Al-Sadiq (AS) about Allah’s words “if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels”. Does it mean that the Prophet died a natural death or was murdered? Imam Al-Sadiq (AS) said: In this verse, Allah refers to the Prophet’s companions who committed the misdeed”. (Tafseer Al Ayash, Vol I, Page 200; Bihar-ul-Anwar, By Allama Al-Majlisi, Vol XX, Page 91)

It is known the Arabs are descendant of Sons of Ishmael. Prophet Muhammad was from the tribe of Quraysh, which of the linage of Ishmael. I don’t think any historians dispute that.

I am one of those who believe in the evidence provided that the prophet was poisoned by ayesha, ahfsa and their fathers. There is a history behind all this and its not necessary to repeat it here when the information is availailbe else where.
My intention to join this form is to give perspective of what my believes are as a Rafidi Muslim. In summary, all the terorism in so called ‘Islam’ today and all the wars and the terrorism that has happened over the last 1400 years roots back to the early days of Islam and was instigated by abu bakr, Omer and their daughters Ayesha and Hafsa who introduced terrorism and sabatage at the death of the prohphet and used Islam’s name for worldly gains by them and their followers in the last 1400 years by so called ‘sunni bakris’ and to some extent by some ‘shia batrees, like the ones who rule Iran these days’. All the terrorism (physical) or indcuced (corrupted hadeeth books, corrupting prophet’s personalitiy) is rooted back to these 4 primary bakri terrorists namely Abu Bakr, Omer, Ayesha and to some extent Hafsa and is used to justify any and all killings for political gains in the name of Islam (the takfiri, salafi wahabee, bakri).

It wasn’t just Paul and his letters who corrupted Christianity, it was also Luke who was with Paul and wrote about all that Paul did. This was of course after he deceived Theophilus with his own, obviously fabricated but geographically and historically accurate to the tee Gospel.
It was also the great corrupter Peter who wrote about Jesus’s death and resurrection, but also relayed to Mark to write a corrupt Gospel confirming Jesus’s death and resurrection. And don’t let me get started on that liar Matthew.
I think the greatest corrupter of all was John though, the Disciple whom Jesus loved standing at the base of the cross in the last moments of Jesus’s (apparant) death. He wrote 3 letters and a Gospel about Jesus, no doubt he was the most devious of all.
