The Catholic Church teaches that in the Eucharist the church receives is the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus. I believe that this teaching was decreed conclusively during the Council of Trent. How did the Church reach the conclusion that the soul and divinity is present in the eucharist as well. Jesus never seemed to say this; He mentioned His body and blood at the Last Supper, but not His soul and divinity.
